No gacha has good story, some just have passable ones. Good stories tend to include endings, they also tend to include characters that develop and change. Gacha characters arrive on the scene as super ultra cool coomer player bait before any development happens, and the live service model means there can't really be an end to the overall story. You can attempt to get around this with flashbacks, building up side characters who aren't playable, splitting into arcs, etc. but it's never going to be as good as actual dedicated story-first media with a start and end. I'd love to be proven wrong though, a gacha with the balls to just completely split gameplay from writing and give us a hard hitting story with consequential moments would be awesome.
