Rerolling hinges on you getting a 5 star within 40 pulls. Meaning you won't meet the special banner pity
That means you always roll on the standard banner until you get a 5 star
After you get your 5 star, you star rolling on the special banner because it has pity at 50 pulls instead of 80.
You essentially save yourself potentially 30 pulls.
