This is because at the moment the "free" ult stll uses your decibles. It changes your chain attack into an ult, but it still charges you the decibles as if you had used it. This means if use the chain converted ult outside of a stun window, you probably won't have the decibles available to use it again after the boss is stunned. That's probably a bug though.

But then running two on field DPS agents in the same patch would seem like an odd choice. Maybe she’d primarily be an off field attacker so she’s still viable with Banyue? That seems plausible. I don’t think she’s support because we’ve yet to have a support character who uses an actual weapon in combat, and we’ve seen her sword-axe thing. Who knows, guess we won’t have to wait too long to find out.

So I started playing ZZZ this year (Vivibi release) and i assumed a lot of the criticism I've seen for a while has been mostly due to the China region but when I see people in different platforms online talk about the game I notice is mostly people that quit in 1.0. I think I have downplayed whatever happened on release, was the whole TV ordeal that big a of shit show? Is weird how hostile some people are about this game even after a year and a half, disproportionately so for a product I think is rather decent. I also checked a couple review videos from about the time of release and is very weird to me how people that gave Genshin and HSR a 9/10 gave ZZZ a 5/10. Other funny thing I noticed is that most people quit at either the train quest just before the end of chapter 1 or after meeting Zhu Yuan at the start of chapter 2.

And yet nobody is jumping up and down over F2P Lighter failing to reach stun windows. An actual well-built F2P Dialyn loses far far less, just judging from my own Lighter once swap over a slightly worse disk for more CDamage instead of the normal 60:150 I run him at.
