Since we are on the topic. Wildhunt Heath seems to look into the mirror as well but reaches a different conclusion than Erlking.Erlking looks at them and sees that it is his fault that Cathy suffers. Wildhunt on the other hand specifically says they are not happy because of Wuthering Heights and the people who live in it, and he does kill Ryoshu (His Nelly) while Erlking seems to be fine with her and has not one version of her in his army unlike Linton, Hindley etc. So you do see what you want to see.
