So what's the point of fishing in Fallout 76? I thought I'd give it a try just for it, read a little bit about it and I don't quite understand. There are a couple of challenges, but basically all you do is collect all the fish you've caught and exchange it for legendary items which looks fucking boring as hell. Am I missing something?

I'm enjoying 76, is it over for me?It mostly feels like f4, just questing and exploring. You get the premium currency by playing, plans to build shit at your camp can be found in the world or bought from npcs for caps. The map looks nice. You can wear clothes on top of armor, hiding it. There's a lot of perks to reduce weight of items so I don't have problems with encumberance yet. Does it get worse down the line? Surely you're forced to spend

There are plenty of plans outside of Atom Shop but these are just things that should have been available to you by default and with each update there are less and less of them, not to mention that their quality is way worse than what you can get with real money. All you can get from the fishing update right now is a few already existing pieces of furniture but with some seaweed on them. The final nail in the coffin of camp's building in 76 is that even with all the free items available, you'll still have less stuff than vanilla Fallout 4 and with mods it's not even close considering that most of the 76 items are ported overAnd yes, the total amount of weight you can store in the chest is limited and you will most likely reach that limit fairly quickly.

I'm genuinely baffled Bethesda were so quick to drop FO4 despite being primed for expansive content. Instead they dropped their season pass as fast as they could ignored the game then drop paid mods and I'm guessing betting everything on FO76. They could have easily post develop for both games and cater to both SP & MP audiences. I highly suspect most 76 players only remain due to it being the most modern version with the most "content" as bad as it is. Like the weapon variety is far superior for example and if it's not viable for most of the online.
