How the fuck is SA2 still seen as the greatest Sonic story ever made? I'm being genuine here. It feels like a holdever from when Satam was considered objectively the best Sonic show. Sure, SA2 tells a pretty fun story but if you hold SA2 to other well recieved stories from around the same time it gets completely fucking mogged by anything that isn't Sonic. Harry Potter? Mogs SA2. Spider-man? Mogs SA2. The average 95% movie from that era is way better than SA2. It's not hard to make better stories than SA2. Why have we been stagnant for 25 years?
