And then the TRUE Final Boss can remain Perfect Chaos, I guess. But like, even cooler and more grandiose in such a way that combines aspects of all the Super Sonic Final Boss scenarios into the ultimate version of all of it.

I don't buy the "Sonic 06 was unfinished" narrative. Not making the cut or redesigning is different than being unfinished. Like "we wanted a chao garden" doesn't mean much to me, I haven't seen any definitive proof that stuff that was supposed to be in the game didn't make it in. I think the game is merely unpolished. As far as the story goes, I think its just full of plot holes. Yes, Blaze is already in the future, but that's during Silver's intro cutscene; there's no opportunity for her to actually be introduced. Similarly Heroes doesn't explain how Team Rose met, they just expect you to have read the manual.

If Barnes actually does succeed with the new direction of idw, you’re going to see a whole new section of sonicfags who enjoy the games actually start talking about IDW positively. I’ve already seen it with the last few issues and parts of the riders arc.
