Fucking cultists, they keep reviving again and again.
Also, poor Eliya. She got mauled by bugs because I forgot that I left her inside the complex hacking.
She comes back home and a huge psychic drone hits and her mood is in the dumps to the point that she got a murderous rage.
She got beat the crap out of her to calm her down and as soon as she can walk, the cultists came and we needed most people to help due to the numbers.
She got caught by some cultists who revived behind her and surrounded her, barely survivng and getting rescued within an inch of her life.
It's a wonder how she kept her body intact.

Fair, but not my problem. I don't have a git and I won't make one just to share the mod here. I promise it's not malware or dolphin porn.

It's a "lazy and dirty" update, just the same stuff the old 1.4 version had.

The only things I did was fix the settings and some calls to old RJW functions that seem to no longer exist in current RJW, then compiled it with up to date Rimworld and RJW references. Everything else is unchanged.
Shows no errors in Rimworld 1.6 and I tested for an hour or so and didn't find any problems so far. I'm probably not going to fix or add anything else unless something affects my own enjoyment of the mod. I did this for my own game and everything I need it to do seems to be working now. Shouldn't break anything in your game, but obviously no guarantees.

2 small issues:
-I was unable to get the correct amount of trait choices and passion choices from the growth tiers for nonstandard growth moments (=not on year 7, 10 or 13) because I fucking suck at C#, so I hardcoded it to max values. That means if you set the eternal loli gene to 11 or 12 or something, the loli will always have the choice of 3 passions from 6 options and 1 trait from 6 options at that growth moment, even if she wasn't on the highest growth tier.
-Also lolis can be manually ordered to attempt to romance adults with the lolicon trait, but adults with the lolicon trait can't be manually ordered to attempt to romance lolis. Passive romance seems to work both ways. Sex works if you have RJW installed, but RJW is not required. Only Harmony is required.

That's why an army of dogs is the superior ranching experience.
They haul everything, they can eat corpses in case of food emergencies (or you can zone a group only for corpse hauling and disposal) and they breed fast enough to be able to be used as combat pets.
Sure, they die in a few hits, but a big pack can be used to stop enemies from firing. Since anybody can use them, you just have to divide the dogs per fighting colonist and send them in waves so they don't die all at the same time.
Farm a lot of corn and raise a lot of dogs. You can raise 6 horses for caravaning purposes.

It's already a chore hauling stuff, but the distance isn't that far and outside of my research pawns there's a lot of downtime for pawns to be hauling stuff so I'm not too concerned about that

I ordered a 1000+ y/o hacked centipede gunner from an orbital mech trader, and it spawned incapacitated with a destroyed fluid processor.
I tried to fix it with a "Cogitor kit" (homemade mod), a healer mech serum for mechanoids but used a Cgni-Fy instead.
How the mech turned into a 3y/o or why the UI keeps breaking whenever I select her, no clue.
Also I disabled sentient mechs in Big&Small settings so it makes even less sense.
Did manage to fix the eating thing, she needed android fuel instead of food.
She's still constantly throwing up because she can't drink water though.

a mech cluster went very poorly and a centipede survived and terrorized the base while everyone bled out, starved, and mentally broke all while hiding from a centipede as if it were a stealth game. The man in black spawned in the mech cluster and died of an infection from the one shot he took from a miniturret.

In the end 3 colonists survived, got weapons, killed the roaming centipede, and were able to rebuild.

I see that medieval overhaul fucks with wood and some of the ores/metals. Does anyone have any experience in the potential fuckery this could cause?

On one hand I assume the authors are intelligent beings whose best interest is to keep it compatible with most general mods and thus somehow makes it so that in the end the final product [wood] works just as vanilla wood for the application in other mods.

On one hand I have seen what retarded decisions mod authors can do and changes to something as basic and wood has insane potential to fuck literally everything up.

Anyone using Medieval Overhaul in a fairly sized modlist that can lend a warning about the most obvious conflicts?

The final product "wood planks" replaces wood. Trees changed to drop Raw Wood
The final product "Steel ingot" replaces steel.
The main thing is that sources of compacted steel are swapped for sources of iron ore. Which must be smelted into Iron Ingot into Steel Ingot.
MO Also has xml options to disable these and just use wood and steel.

They expand from new recruits and they don't fear old age since they steal the youth from raiders.

You can set priorities in the work tab, in this case you should set plant cutting to 1.

You can set food restrictions in the colonist tab, eating raw food and corpses is on by default but you can turn it off.

Depend on the biome. In your case, I would assume that it was a forest so hunting helps when the veggies are lacking. Use any ranged weapon and fire at blankpoint on sleeping animals. Later, you can just automate it when you get better guns and a pawn with good accuracy by just giving them hunting priority in the worktab and manually making every animal in the map as hunting target from time to time in the wildlife tab.
Also, you can go to the assign tab and create a new food policy (or modify an existing one), in that policy, forbid them from eating raw food.

Early psycast are very circumstancial while the latter ones are game changing. You can just put your psycaster psyfocus need to zero by moving the bar.
>Electricity.
Build a Research table (you need wood and steel), enter the research tab and click on electricity so they can learn how to build an electric generator. Early game, the solar and wind generator are good, late game you can use the geothermal and chemfuel. I usually make a chemfuel generator first and don't care about freezing food if there are enough animals in the map since vegetables last long enough without a freezer.

Boomalopes were likely designed as a high risk, high reward animal. I think TS planned them to be milkable from the start, even if this was only implemented later on.
Boomrats are slightly faster than your average colonist, and they're often in large manhunting packs, so I think they're there just as a threat. They also help to further specialise melee vs. distance attacks. And at least for me it's also a good reminder to clean the local fauna in a balanced way, otherwise I'm left with nothing but boomrats.

The one you found was Xenotype Spawn Control, right? Give it another try, it fits what you're asking for - like making a tribe of a custom xeno. Or balancing other factions so they include bits of your custom xenos. Managed to make custom bodytype/parts work, she can now use all upper body surgeries/bionics. Even without losing mech functionality in the regular non-sapient mechanoid Mollypede from a mech gestator (coloring overlays work too).
Body is also patched for CE coverage and RJW part patcher.
All I still want to do is fix the gear tab somehow, so she can use clothing/armor.

It was kinda bugging me I didn't know how the body structure works, so I figured it out.
Red part is the normal centipede body with the new yellow torso replacing the location of the old head.
All head parts (including 6! eyes) are moved to the new one, arms and related chest parts added to the torso, continuing into ring 1 with the first set of legs.
Torso and first set of legs are part of group ring 1, where the "love part" is.
The second ring contains her reactor, third and fourth fluid reprocessor 1 and 2 respectively.
Fifth ring has nothing but a set of legs, the sixth contains the _InorgaicWaist, which connects to the anus.

I can also confirm that the head part does have a _SmellSensor, so she can actually go out and smell the flowers.

In Arid shrubland, just grow veggies all year round. Save enough wood to make a passive cooler for summer.
In Boreal forests, have someone be a full time hunter to get meat. The hunter will also be a very good shooter as an extra bonus. You have more than enough wood to make a campfire in winter.

If you throw morality out of the window, you can trap the bestower and his guards in a room with some toxic IED. Fire at it so it explodes then close the exit with a wall and wait until they all fall unconscious from the poison so you can loot the psylink. You can also strip the soldiers for non tainted good equipment.
Treat them nicely in your prison and release them once they are healthy, you will restore the goodwill.
If you do it with a psycaster at level 0 who can get max level psycast with the bestowal (having 65 honor without an imperial title), you can get 6 psylink immediately.
Alternatively, although it takess a lot more time, you can starve the bestower to death. His guards can survive a bit longer because they have food on them so wait until they fall unconscious. Bestower will die unless you trap one of your pawns in the same room and give him food so he can survive a bit longer and only fall unconscious instead of dying.

When I feel like caring I edit their ideologies at the start to disallow all tattoos, but usually I just ignore it. I think you can also use Cherry Picker to disable them, I don't bother looking for replacements because I don't like tattoos anyway
