The whole stress and trauma side of the game is pretty good to make you attach a little to the characters. Mei is adorable when at the hospital.They should make leverage on this, not just because it's neat but because it can get them more money. It's not any different than finding an abandoned kitty along the road, after all.

Like haru for example, the base card rewards you from playing it 5 times and scaling its damage. Then the 3 mana version benefits from having a full hand when you use it The combo version does more upfront damage. Hell, you can even remove lift anchor and anchor shot and focus on aoe scaling with powercharge and charge energy.And depending on what you do, your teams could be completely different. Its going to take a while to get all this shit figured out.

This is the first gacha I've ever played, I only tried it out because I like slay the spire and darkest dungeon and this game is pretty heavily influenced by both. I'm really enjoying it at the moment, although the one billion currencies and seventeen different simultaneous progress tracks makes my eyes roll into the back of my head. Outside of that, I've never once felt like I've literally needed to pay money in order to win, but then again I don't play stingy gacha like hoyoverse shit. Honestly, the way gacha works, it's more like a roguelike resource management simulator where everyone has their own individual unique experience, and paying money turns on the cheat codes that let you get whatever you want. You don't ever need to spend money, and in fact doing so usually ruins your enjoyment of the game or makes you so overpowered that you're not even actually playing it anymore, and being f2p is really the most fun you can have. If you spend $600 maxing out a character or however much that costs, I bet that's fun for an hour or two, but then there's nothing to look forward to.
