I’ve been thinking about this for a while now, and I think I actually prefer HR games. I don’t really enjoy G content. It makes LR/Village feel pointless, and I don’t like the fights because they are too fast and have too many moves. It also sucks having to farm sets a 3rd time unless you just run LR-HR with Armory gear which illustrates my point of its existence making (LR especially) previous ranks feel pointless. LR is supposed to be an easier mode whereas HR is the real game. G rank feels like it insists upon itself. Compare P3rd to 3U and my argument becomes crystal clear, to me anyway. G/Master rank feels like bloating at the expense of the game as a whole. Call me bad, out of touch, boring, whatever, I don’t care. It’s just something I wanted to share because I haven’t seen anyone else talk about this.
