I can easily imagine being able to throw around small and medium sized enemies, and for big enemies and bosses, you basically can throw small enemies at them (even if there are no other small enemies around, I can easily see the character just grabbing an enemy or boulders out of the ground and throwing it at the boss), and then when you break their stamina meter, you get to use a finisher that piledrivers them into the ground. Maybe their basic attack string can be wrestling punches/kicks.

It's something that takes time but eventually you learn the flow of a team and can play by heart. I'll add that you don't need to follow proper rotations perfectly if you want to be efficient enough for the endgame. ToA and Whiwa allow for a lot of suboptimal plays.
