With all the Fighting Zone support she got recently, this is no longer a problem, though once again, you're sacrificing Vigilance or the more situational Fire Guard for it.

Generally you'd think you'd want to sync with Serena first since her EX role is support, but you actually want to do it with Lance first to get those extra rebuffs on, and then Serena, and then Red. The higher the floor, the more luck reliant you have to be on Red surviving to third sync, but he can make it if you get AS Lance to 3/5 and can get some flinches and paralysis in. You also want to hold off on activating Red's first Dragon Zone until after Lance syncs, so you might have to give Red or Lance Head Start combined with Lance's flinching to get through the first 9 turns quickly.
