This is gonna be really gay to admit but I wanna say it I cried while playing stalker 2. I grew up watching my brother play the first stalker game and was enamored with that shit and once I had a pc I saved up money to buy a steam gift card so I could buy stalker on steam and I remember having so much fun dying. Then while playing stalker 2 I made it to the SIRCAA building and watching the emission through the glass made me tear up. I don’t know why but maybe because I’m a faggot but something felt so beautiful about it. I know stalker 2 has its own issues with some of the lore being a little here and there and the mutants being complete aids (I FUCKING HATE BLOODSUCKER DROPKICK SPAM.) I still love this game and the series as a whole.

Got a nice AK from a renegade, but the mechanic doesn't have the parts required, so I'm trying to improve goodwill first and foremost. Also hoping for the Bear to appear in a traders' inventory, as Echo is pure trash and I have had zero luck with it so far. Quite enjoying it overall, it seems to be one of the best freeplay options available right now.

Sprinting cancels your reload in S2, which is unbelievably infuriating.I recently installed S2 from Gamepass again - first area, immediately after checking the body, I walk a little bit, 3 guys spawn right in front of me by the shoreline, and start full BF3-style combat running in random directions, and suddenly stopping, or getting stuck on things - they're trying to engage a group of Fleshes that have also just spawned in. It looked ridiculous, like a broken game that a child would make. The game's combat AI is bananas, it's just basic AI scripts that make them run around like retards.Most of the world map is empty. Model/LOD popping is unbelievably bad on every detail setting.These are just things that you can notice within the first 10-15 minutes of gameplay (after tutorial). The rest is worse.
The lighting is the most insane I've seen in any game - this is a screenshot taken AT NIGHT, WITH PITCH DARKNESS OUTSIDE. IT'S SO BRIGHT THAT IT LOOKS LIKE DAYTIME! As soon as you step towards the doorway, it's dark outside again. Take a few steps backwards, and it's daytime again. Unbelievable. I don't know who thought this looked good - this game was made by people who have never used a computer before. Wish I made a gif or something so you could see the transition, but it looks much worse than you think.

INTERESTING.If you remove the level changer to the underground in the Agroprom base, you can access a small explorable tunnel under the base. This area actually contains a third level changer at the end of it that leads to the underground as well. It spawns you in the Controller tunnel.
