So to start with solid hats off from me to the great lyrics that are basically Eula and later Castorice pouring out her heart and story. Alone they tell a great story and it would have already been a great song if that was all. The lyrics match the mood including how the fiddles volume and power wax and wane in order to really showcase Eula and Castorices feelings about each other. Just excellence through and through.But what really made me tear up. What brings it into the realm of awesome. You can tell exactly when Eula stops trying to hide her true self from Castorice and really forms a connection with her. The entire first two n half minutes of the jig its purely Eula singing and telling her story and emotions. But right after she doubles down on her efforts to learn how to cook proper Irish stew for Castorice and actually serves her a good meal Castorice enters the jig too answering Eulas efforts.Eulas You showed me the Black Tier Ass path followed immediately by Castorices Ill be Irish Butt at the end of the rainbow. indicating that Castorice is having the same feelings towards Eula. And from there the way that the two vocalists start singing together accompanying each other with call and response yet offbeat and out of sync when singing the same line. tells the story of how theyre trying to find the balance with each other.
