I am so dismayed at this lukewarm upcoming warbond. Ever since my circle of friends abandoned HD2 shortly after launch (smart bunch), I've done mostly solo stealth runs botside. That's how I know nothing being added will matter. You will be just as successful at stealth with these items as you will be without them. Fuck this, honestly. The OG warbonds were utter game changers. Flipping entire playstyles upside down and opening paths to entirely new ones. Shit was amazing. Now look at what's happening. Smoke grenade, we already have that. Armor that makes you harder to detect, already have that. Light pen DMR, we already have those. etc. Even the decoy mine, the only truly interesting item in that whole release, won't be a game changer because you can achieve the same effect with a sentry. I want to be excited for the C4 since the stats look sufficient, but outposts go down so quickly and easily now that I'm afraid I'll never get to use it much unless solofagging for the whole mission. Shit sux. At least the leaks are here to spare us a lot of disappointment.
