The setting and atmosphere is fine, its really just the writing that its boring and non-sensical especially around the Captain, it really just doesn't make sense how they deprived the protagonist of literally everything, he doesn't need to be able to fight anything but being able to talk properly and with confidence is a must, its established that Protos go through a lot of shit and they should be masters at talking and dialogue in general given that one of their core attributes is that connection they have with their agents. If they get the main cast synergy correctly, Captain included, then they don't even need to have that much of a good story for me to be invested, but they do need to get the characters right at the very least
