I find the way they seem to balance the game, particularly when it comes to sinking quite interesting.You would think simply making enemies with negative coins would stop them, but it really doesn't. The clashing power of sinking IDs hasn't worsened, even with entire seasons where the only sinking IDs added were RHongers and Kodya. This means that they outclash the enemy rolling tails anyway. Panic types rarely actually matter, or they are counteracted by something I will mention soon. Look at Lei Heng's for example, who gains coin power when he panics, so that's not scary. Night Drifter gains 50% more damage on his counters, but his counters depend on a gimmick that you can stop, so he never does counters.Some enemies gain atk power up, but then Rodya comes in with coldness and counteracts the effect. Wei has a pretty annoying one, gaining speed when he panics however Wei is also one of the only bosses not immune to panic changing so WHeasu hits him with his s2 and now Wei is completely crippled against sinking teams. The only enemy I think that's actually scary is Kim but that's because he puts you on a timer before he does tccb but sinking is not bad against that either as they still have sinking deluge, Solemn Lament, LMD, Arcana tear and pierce, etc. Lots of nukes basically. Sinking is not hard to keep up either, and every ID is made with Echoes of the Manor in min,d which is still a really strong status effect have as it means every ID can become count positive or neutral, and the ones that are already positive are even stronger.
