Usually I get around this by putting actions between the dialogue (reactions, expressions, actions, thoughts, etc.) and/or specifying who's speaking through like "Dess mumbled out," "Anon hesitantly said," and etc.If you've got two people of the same gender talking to each other or whatever, it's a good idea to "overuse" names. Getting lost when reading stuff like "She gave her" or "she looked at her and she" is VERY easy. "Dess was Anon's friend, but also Anon's girlfriend-wife, and also someone Anon offered to eat out while Dess" works a little better than the original sentence.This might be a personal preference thing, but I avoid re-using the same word at the start of sentences or the next "paragraph" as much as possible. I'll sometimes avoid re-using the same words close together. This does lead to my own weird issues with writing, but it also forces me to look for new words and think sentences out differently.Em-dashes are good. It sucks that AI kind of ruined it a bit, but they're good for "side tangent" and other actions like it in writing. Basically, anytime you'd use ( ), you can use an em-dash pair, like: "1225—everyone always thought that was lame, but that’s because they don’t like her enough—was".Italics and Bolding is GOOD. I feel like I overuse it a bit, but it's one of those perfect communicators that drives how a word [i]feels[/i]. I was thinking about what the reason would be for the color on a Pippins and if maybe it dictated the kind of job they would hold on TV World. Maybe the red Pippins are the default ones and handle all kind of normal jobs or dangerous jobs, there's more of them so they're more disposable. Then the other Pippinses which are different colors get more special privilege and do specific odd jobs. But, of course, they're not actually related if they're the same color, it just kinda dictates what they're good at.

For the past few weeks, I had been practicing chords of a song called "Angel Monster". The chord progression was simple enough to understand even if the chords look a bit absurd when writing down. Appegiated picking of Ab7sus2 -> Ab7sus2#5. And then Abm9, to the part where he raises D# to E of that same chord and then individually picking E, Bb, B. It was a weird chord choice but it has been stuck with me for a very, very long time. The thing is though it's very hard to play because I have small hands and every time I try to position my finger to not buzz one string it buzzes another. The song and the effort strangely enough remind me of Asgore alone in his house, which is the exact replica of the house he used to share with a family, trying to replicate the formula for the pie his wife used to make. i will say that, to me, deltarune is way too long for what it is and could've had it's run time cut down to half what it usually takes to beat it with all the chapters out currently which is about 20 or so hours. That means the full game upon release will be about 40-50 hours, which would be fucking abysmal to replay through.

I think Susie is supposed to be our actual POV character which is why the story can get so "Susie centric". Susie is left in the dark about pretty much everything while Kris and Ralsei intentionally withhold information from her. We spend the beginning of the game alone with Kris but after meeting Susie, pretty much the rest of what we see is when Susie is with Kris and the game timeskips when she's not around. Besides the final prophecy we know as much as she does. It's a stretch but you could even say Susie reacts most accurately to how a typical player would react.I don't think this means anything, I just think it's interesting how our perspective is intrinsically tied to Susie's. Actually, it might mean something, Susie might be the vessel.
