From my experience, in monolith runs, the system refuses to give you any new cards for the character if they have three unmaxed potentials, this means early on you SHOULD reroll for your core potentials on any character, and not just pick up that 'kinda ok' potential because if you pick too many of them you'll brick yourself from getting key cards like your pink or purple potentials.

I have a theory that the game has a hard cap on the amount of gold potentials you can get in a single run. I went from 1600 —> 0 from rerolling and never once got the golds that increase attack speed for Noya. This is a screenshot just after doing the thing I described. I have quite a lot of potentials at this point, but not the ones I needed, so I was hoping I can start getting them now, but nope, not a single one. Just so we're clear, Shia "feels awful to play" because in AoE content, her Main Skill despawns if the enemies aren't bunched together. Even if there's an enemy left, and even if you approach it, if that mob isn't close to the mob that was being focused before it died, the drones will despawn and you will have to eat shit for like 15 seconds. This is fixed by her night rabbit pink that throws in AoE grenades that also bounce between enemies. But then in boss content, your damage per second is weaker since you have to sacrifice a white rabbit pink for it. (This is why I think the best combination is 1 white rabbit + 1 black rabbit pink.Her damage is undoubtably insane, possibly even trumping Chitose because of Tilia.
