furniture doesn't give you points toward the relic only figures, posters, pillows, etc. look at the item description and it will show you how many points in the top right I think.

My strat for 8 was going all in on Depression and having Kidian carry, and then after I timed out at 30% I went with Vivacious and had Butter carry. Just make sure your tanks are getting healed up and you can win.
