I'll be honest, I can't figure out how they're going to make the money they need/want from Endfield. The gacha system honestly looks pretty forgiving as long as you're not an impulsekek and the roll currency isn't dished out at a piss poor rate. Operators will likely be released at a much slower pace than AK for obvious reasons too, so the 3-banner windows should be plenty of time to cash in when you're ready. Guaranteed 6* at 80 rolls, then guaranteed rate up at 120 sounds more than doable, and the weapon gacha begin completely separate also helps (on top of it being essentially free). If everything is still the same from the previous beta, there's also a yellow cert system for standard headhunting so it's not like ALL the ops will be going into that 3-banner limited rotationThey have that battle pass thing they talked about, but that's ultimately just the equivalent of our current monthly pass.
