After playing 120hours, mostly conquest, I can say with certainty that maps fucking suck. Too small, too narrow, too claustrophobic, too linear, too suffocating, every match plays the same. 90% of games are one sided stomps. I can predict outcomes of matches by which side my team is on even before the game starts.Add on top the exploiters, every match there are some roof glitching, drone bugging, perma camping groups of retards sitting on inaccessible roofs and shit the entire game being annoying.Maybe these maps work for breakthrough, but I just hate that mode, it feels like TDM clusterfuck to me and not battlefield. Maps need to be like a 1/3 bigger for 32v32 to be the default in main modes.

I have been thoroughly enjoying Battlefield 6. I even got to level 100 the other day. I'll be honest, I come from CoD. I've only enjoyed the Infinity Ward games as well. So far, this is better than any CoD I've ever played. Ground War never clicked for me but Conquest is amazing. and is (was) the only mode I played. I genuinely find it hard to go back to the smaller retard-deathmatch modes. All the vehicles are fun. I am not good at driving anything but the Tank/IFV. Jets and Helis are definitely annoying but I understand that means my team is just doing nothing about them. Gun play is solid and intuitive. Maps are great IMO, with the exception of New Sobek and Saints Quarter but still okay non the less. The Battle Royale is great. It actually feels like a BR again like Warzone 1&2 and not like the glorified TDM it is now. The class system is good. However I think it needs some more work if we are going to use Open Weapons. For example, I don't think the classes have enough incentive to run their dedicated weapons outside of Recon. If I remember correctly, Engineers only get better hip-fire for SMGs and thats it. On Firestorm, Ive seen the majority of people just running Engineer with an AR. On Empire, its only Support with SMGs and Carbines. (But thats just my experience, I cant speak for everyone) Assault does not feel as useful as the other classes, given it has the ability to use multiple weapons and might cap points faster than the other classes. Its saving grace is it now has the Respawn Beacon. Maybe I just need to play it more, but I only really use it if I know I will be contesting points.

LMGs are pretty much ass. Every time I think about using one I always regret it. The L110 is pretty good but not near top contender for most productive weapon. You can tell DICE is terrified of Assault Rifles. SMGs flat out outperform them at midrange. The SGX has insane value. Not the fastest TTK but precision, control, and mag size are top notch. Not sure what caused DICE to go crazy with AR dispersion between the beta and release, maybe too many people were using the M433. I think the TR7 is one of if not the best designed gun in the game because the trade off is very concise.

it might sound crazy but LMGs work better in....battle royale mode. The map is large and there's a shit tons of covers and small buildings/windows for infantry, mount your LMG on those and laser people at medium range. Sniper still fucks you up but at least the BR map allows LMGs to be actually playable

Definitely throw a silencer on your weapons and remove the laser and you'll find your life expectancy go way up. That's the real meta. BF2042 meta was all about high ROF and BF6 is more or less the same so pick a gun with a high ROF whose recoil you can manage. The guns are fairly well balanced though. Didn't really come across a shitty gun yet unlike 2042 which was VHX / BSVM / AVANCYS and the rest always felt one step behind.

My latest attempts at annoying the enemy air players is paying dividends.This guy died to the same strat twice in this game and dedicated the rest of the match to sitting on the airfield and disarming my mines after I dropped in and placed them.I then took an attack helo and splattered him across the ground by roadkilling him in it and then done the same with a jet afterwards.This poor casual never left the airfield all game.
