Even heavy shields only give you 26 more effective HP than light. Remains to be seen how the playerbase pans out but there's no MMR so you'll see the same friendlies we do. Just remember solo and teams are 2 different games.

well that was easy. took 1 of the purple grenades and 2 shots with the rocket launcher lol
now that the game is out for a few days it seems that solo is becoming the 'friendly loot scooping' play mode and trios is the sweaty murderfestI've had way more emergent group PvE in solos than in trios, where you are just waiting to get third partied by another group if you do go for rocketeer or bastion. I'll give a couple tips for bastions and rockets/Throw grenades under its stomach. The underside is a weak point, and grenades seem to deal overlapping splash damage to its joints. 1 heavy grenade gives around 1400 exp if it detonates underneath the bastion, and exp is damage based. This means its definitely hitting multiple times. Top hits give like 900 exp down to 600exp. Back hits also like 1500exp. Under the stomach is the best though. IF you can lob grenades under a bastion and get that sweet overlap, its huge exp and damage and it will go down fast.Killing rocketeers is super easy also if you are prepared.1) Snitch grenade to call down trio of drones.2) Lure grenade at the rocketeer drone.3) Other drones will attack rocketeer and they will begin fighting each other.4) Rocketeer cannot aim up to hit other flying drones who will hover around it wearing it down. 5) Lure grenade again if they stop fighting each other. 6) Rocketeer will die eventually from having its engines shot out, and you can mop up the small drones. This creates an enormous amount of noise for awhile, so be prepared to greet other raiders who have been watching wtf is going on.
