One rank of his r13 lets you stun twice in an alert which is really damn good when the game doesn't give immunity. Plus aoe shielding, can tank physical and his alerts+fortune chip adds up over 10 turns when mobs take 90% less damage.

Proof of Strength is the content I want to play, this game mode has been a 12/10. Unique mechanics that don't require a dictionary and a notebook to understand. Enemies that don't instantly overpower or suffocate you. Great rewards that aren't based on if you can cheese it in 2 turns.
