What I learned by getting Armor King to GoD:This game is bloated. Really, really bloated. So many of the characters in this game play like they have next to no weaknesses. There are so many top tiers it's crazy. Counter hit launchers that are completely safe on block? Yeah. Midcrushes that ruin your whole offense? Yup.A lot of characters carry really bad players into high ranks in this game in my opinion and I thought I understood that when I was playing Feng, but now I get it. Even as a Feng main, I was carried well past all the nerfs. Good lows, decent sidestep, panic buttons? I could get out of jail basically for free in most cases and, if I didn't, most of the time I died.When I started playing Armor King, I got really frustrated. "These dudes are mashing on my plus frames! My moves aren't tracking!" etc etc. I even made a post not too long ago salty because a Lili was stepping on my plus frames. I was mad as shit. The funny thing I realized though? I was the dumb one.Sure, someone might come in here and go "hurr hurr durr yeah we knew" but I didn't. I'm always TRYING to improve, but after I made that post, I had a revelation and then I DID improve.Armor King has taught me a patience I didn't think I had.
