I tried to give Community Shaders a fair chance so I did clean install with no mods other than the basic tweaks yada yada and honestly, I don't know why Boris is insecure about CS. First thing I noticed is the lack of screen space shadows in interiors. That's a deal breaker for me given how much interior lighting is improved by screen space shadows. The second thing is how poor the global illumination is. I tweaked the settings and tried to increase it further but all it ended up doing was making the game weirdly lit. There's an experimental setting that should produce results similar to ENB but the FPS dropped harder than ENB, so, what the hell.Overall, a pretty disappointing experience given how little it changed the game so that's why I think Community Shaders is the perfect choice for vanilla+ playthroughs. It doesn't try to change how the game looks, it improves the general look and polishes the artstyle further by giving it the modern features it deserves.And before you say anything, I did install every addon from Nexus.
