Outside of the card based gameplay and cosmic horror themes they both play pretty differently.CZN is much more of a roguelike deckbuilder, spamming Chaos runs until you get that perfect deck and using it to clear the rest of the content. The randomness/variety of the epiphanies and gear gives it a lot more variance and freedom to how you build your deck, though much more prone to fuckups and bricks.Morimens revolves more around the different playstyles and character synergies/kits. Characters come with a fixed "deck" of 5 cards+ult and it's more about how your parties kits interact with the 4 playstyles (tentacles/baby eating/extra hand). The maps/dungeons are fixed and the "roguelike" revolves around augmenting your cards with different passive effects or getting sts like relics that give you different passives in fights. There isn't any carryover so all your augments/relics/etc are done only for that map/fight. The flip side is that enemies and bosses can easily two-three tap you and have tons of hp, so fights revolve around how well your relics and augmented cards work with your party comp/realm archetype to avoid getting one shot and killing the boss as fast as possible with a fixed deck.
I'm gonna start putting Mika in the front of my party. It seems that they mindbreak from front to back, and my Mika always ends up mindbroken for the first time on the final boss, completely fucking everything up.

Fully f2p (true, real) 30/30 basin done, mostly with the same two teams. Rei wasn't actually built for Mei Lin team, she's on Kayron support build but I didn't bother getting a better one for her. No dupes on 5-stars, Haru, Mei Lin, Mika and Selena are lvl50, others lvl40, and pretty much only Mei Lin had somewhat decent memory fragments set. No 5-star partners either, didn't even roll on that banner.It's actually insane how many cool combos you can make with good builds, shame it's only relevant for now when we're underleveled and don't have good gear.

While this new info help the story a bit, the actual issue is not resolved which is Owen being more of an mc than anyone else, giving the writers the benefit of the doubt, I think they wanted to focus on Owen now because he would turn evil later but this decision backfired hard because while doing so they forgot that the mc needed to be focused first, what's the point of showing later what happened in the epilogue when the mc, or anyone else, cared about it? they should have made some insinuations that the mission was strange and the data about it was not fully saved or whatever, make the player know that something was wrong.
