It'd have been a lot more intuitive if they allowed you to change player equip from the player button leadind to the login/player data screen where you already see the icon of the player using said equip right on the frontscreen. Having the option to chance MC's on the same screen we see status of CS and our overall data would make sense. It's also easier to visualize the MC you're wearing from the login screen than going all the way to party formation.
