Every relic event they do highlights how dogass the relic system is. Guaranteed 4-liners, instant +15s, no off set, and you still have to burn through the equivalent of a thousand hours of TB power until you get a full set with at least modest subs and matching main stats.
I liked 3.7 and the Irontomb fight quite a lot, but something that is really bugging me is how hard they lean into "tell, dont show" for attempts at epic moments that really call for more. Like why is Himiko chiming in mid battle to say "this is a super important trailblaze :3?" Bitch, I know it is, the universe is at stake. Show a scene of the fleet getting fucked by Irontomb. Show a clip of Okhema fighting the black tide. These midbattle quips worked wellbagainst Sunday because the crew was directly challenging his philosophy ("Witness the will of the weak!") But here its just filler to hype you up, since Irontomb isnt and cannot engage with us and they cant be assed to show the conflict's scale properly. If anything they should be shittalking Lygus but they dont do that either, its just protag wank.
The CN has some cool pv, why they didn't put those within the game. Seeing the imminent war, planets being evacuated and Lygus war declaration would have been a lot better.
