Tried to replicate that in training mode. King is airborne and has complete mid evasion for a few frames.
If you delay ff3, sometimes you trade. If you are early, you hit King, but if you hit that while King is at the highest point in the air, he wins the exchange.
This is how Tekken operates. But I understand how it can be frustrating for a Blue rank player to discover this. This is how frames work in the game combined with the properties of airborne and the evasiveness of some moves.

I'm bushin closing in on tekken king and I don't feel like i'm learning anything about the game. Every game is just finding the opponent's cheese and countering it. I played a bunch of games today, there was a TK Law who kept spamming duckable highs and his only adaptation after I started launching them was moving to spamming throws and snake edges (I won handily). Then a Lee doing something similar with Lee's highs. Then an Azucena that was clearly mashing on minus constantly because she just kept getting counterhit.
It's like nobody wants to take a breath and try to use the space in the map, they just want to get to range 0 and mash in your face. It's like they actually don't want to play the game.

In my experience AK players just keep throwing random launchers in neutral and praying it works, and since blocked launcher = 30 dmg punish but pauncher that hits = 100 damage + wall oki it works out sometimes unless you just dashblock them to death which is boring.
