Why is WuWa getting less and less fun?I haven't logged into WuWa for half a month, and its playability is practically nonexistent now. I think the biggest problem is the huge disconnect between character development and event gameplay.To pull characters, you grind resources everywhere or spend money, then spend even more time and resources to develop them, only to find that the events are almost entirely unrelated to those characters. What's the point of pulling and developing characters? For the thrill of combat, for the spectacular monster battles. But what kind of events does WuWa offer now? Fishing, AFK farming, and even stamina clearing are the main activities . There are also daily login rewards, random parkour, tower defense, low-quality roguelike games, and grid-based gameplay. Grid-based gameplay is at least a bit of monster fighting, but it's almost entirely unrelated to developing the characters you pull. What's the point of pulling and developing characters? The negative feedback is extremely strong. What I find most unacceptable is version 2.7. After dozens of days of downtime, all that's left is gacha pulls and a story update? They seem overly confident in their world-class storyline. The gameplay is so repetitive, I'm totally fed up. I wish WuWa all the best and hope they expand their community

So I just finished 1.0, and as I said, I'll give my thoughts on it.So we're Rover, someone who was around a long time ago and supposedly has a bunch of feats, but has now returned for whatever reason without his memory. I don't actually know the goal of Rover after 1.0, aside from regaining their memory to understand things. For now, we're just helping out in Jinzhou because... reasons? Jinhsi has gone missing, and the dragon vision told us to go to Mt. Firmament. Everyone says things improve with 1.1 and on, so I look forward to it, I guess.So anyway, 1.0 felt rushed and scattershot. We start by being given a bunch of MacGuffins to figure out what Jinhsi is trying to tell us. I couldn't follow the steps the story was taking here, or the reasons to move us to the places it wanted us to go; it was completely random and hard to follow. Eventually, we meet the antagonists: The Fractsidus (unclear if they're villains, though). Scar getting caught was somewhat contrived, and honestly, I'd rather side with them than that cunt Jinhsi, as she didn't meet us and also made our lives harder from the very start with the MacGuffins. I think keeping things that Rover does hidden from the player is bad writing, and it's pretty obvious because that scene doesn't even work when you consider that Camellya defended Rover from Fractsidus goons on the night he met with Jinhsi, so Scar should have known that something was up and shouldn't have been blindsided by the trap.Eventually, some shit occurs, and The Fractsidus do something to revive the Threnodians or whatever. We then save the day and unlock the WuWa mascot: Not Paimon.Overall, everything felt rushed and without proper rhythm or reason as to the things we're doing. The main quest felt too short, and we barely explored the 1.0 map as part of it. Here's hoping that things improve!

These all look very close to eachother in terms of stylistic choices and just general 'mood'; tacticool, high technology, high mechanical, gritty, practical. Is every chapter going to be the Fractsidus setting something in motion and then Rover + the patch's new characters resolve the issue, making things better than they were before the Fractsidus even interfered, with them saying that everything is going exactly as planned?These games with Hoyo equipment are miserable to play before 5*/gold equipment as you're understated for the enemies that scale to world/character level, and levelling worse rarity gear is a complete waste of resources. 1.1s area was awful because some enemies were like 10+ levels higher than normal, turning fights into an absolute slog. Horrible balancing. I absolutely adored Mt. Firmament, it's such a gorgeous and serene area to explore.
