Flying is never as laid-back as it could be in past BF's except for the unicorn retard lobby where virtually none of them are spamming stingers and rpg's nonstop and there are no competent enemy pilots. I am rarely bored cause I am constantly thinking about and doing something. Tracking the enemy jets and their spawns is always #1 followed by monitoring where the cheetah/gepard is. Then there's watching for tows out of the corner of my eye, protecting my helis and killing theirs, figuring out which angle of approach I want to make a pass on cause the wrong one is very easily death, finding and avoiding/strafing/bombing the stingers, bombing whichever point the ground is pushing, protecting my tanks and fucking with theirs, avoiding their base AA and using my c-ram when I don't have flares or want to save them, flying back to repair/rearm, various other smaller stuff, and of course the eternal getting pissed off at radar not working. Half of that shit I never gave much thought about in 2042, 5, 1, and 4. Maybe 3 a bit at the start of it.Honestly the only three changes I really want them to make are to fucking fix radar, lower stinger vertical range, and up the ttk on other aircraft a decent bit. Cheetah/gepard main guns need some buffs too imo.
