I think people who complain about S2 story are not used to Gacha story telling stretching as long as possible. It took HI3 four and half years or 3.8 major patches to end their first story. We're not ending all the mysteries when Wise & Belle finds and confront their teacher at the end of the 4+ year arc. We'll probably conclude Fairy Arc and have like 3 more god AIs to go through for the ZZZ sequels.
