the way the counters interact with tanks compared to other roles is so fucking stupid. take for instance how someone like soldier counters pharah, where nothing about his kit was designed to specifically counter pharah or echo. now look at how sombra counters most tanks, where she does this mainly through the ability to just shut off the kit that makes them a tank to begin with. or how ana can make JQ, mauga, and hog actually worthless. besides maybe tracer playing into mcree or widow playing into winston/ball, i dont think any of the other 2 roles have to worry nearly as much about hard counters impacting their experience
