It's that it's the best immediate payoff on server launch, requires no gear, is STILL good enough that you can do it 1-99 if you're on midrates without feeling fatigued, and encourages gay kirito behavior where priests will dogfuck to 99 then quit immediately after. Necros give, when factoring in their zombies, 69k exp per kill. You can't even teleport without finding at least one on every screen. You just tp around spamming Magnus Exorcismus and zoom up to 99 insanely fast, but you need actual gear and levels before you can start them. Thors you can do a few different ways, either camp the Kasa spawn on f1, duo with a whitesmith and bang bang collect free levels, or set up a salamander party on f3. Or do a walking party if you can't organize that shit properly, who cares. Even with a party, taps make up for the split exp so each one is still worth more than an anubis. Just depends on your clear speed and how many deaths you take.Bio3 spawn camping is super gay but undeniably a very powerful levelling option, and gives you so much jexp that you'll hit j70 around the time you 99 as well. It does require the most effort to set up, but once it starts going, it's nearly unmatchable. At that point the only thing that could come close is TKM leeching on the correct day at morroc.
