I thought of a new mechanic to make the game more fun. I call it ether displacement. Basically an ethereal lowers their defense to 0 to regain hp and increase their max hp at the start of the fight. It also gives them a barrier that cannot be damaged by disorders or abloom.

Coming off of Elden Ring, the action in this game feels really basic. Maybe having it be on mobile hurt the complexity of the combat because it could be so much more intense if it were console/PC only.
