I've been experimenting with AI to create stories where I slowly build this ship. Sonurge is so much fun, it simply works when you put the pieces together, Sonic, chill and aloof, and Surge, the broken girl who can still be redeemed. However, what makes it more different is that Surge can keep up with Sonic, we've never seen a female character like this in the franchise, and I'm not counting Blaze because she's from a monarchy and a different univers. I can't do the same with Sonamy, it's just so simple and it feels OOC when Sonic reciprocates. Sonurge on the other hand, just feels right when Surge starts seeing the good side of things and stops blaming the world and Sonic for what she has become. Sonurge is the best ship and now I understand why so many people like it.
