>>546749447i really think instead of adding more buttons, they should start adding more gnashing fang combo style moves. you're starting to see it with the various scythe abilities where 1 button turns into another button. in ff14, gnashing fang was one of the first ones they did this with, where they collapsed 3 different keybinds down into a single button, and that single button just rotates through a 3 hit combo as you press it, but leaves a GCD inbetween where you can weave a 0GCD strike inbetween each press. wow should start leaning more into these transforming buttons, like the scythes, or the ret paladin crusader strike one, i think primordial wave did it too, where you get multiple actions without adding more keybinds to the bar. its like the MMO genre had to rediscover what console controller games have known for 40 years, that you can press the same button multiple times and actually do a combo.
