Just retry the first event until you get a good one like notes or a free rare card which will also have a good chance to be boosted to level 3 too. Winning the 650 bet at the start is also really good but not required. After that, do a few more floors until you reach the first shop and see how many important cards you got. If not a lot, abandon the run. Also hope that RNG gives you good notes. Use 5* main discs even if their skills are meh.Other than that you need to think about whether to max out a card asap or leave them hanging. If a character still has new cards you need to obtain then focus on bringing one of their current cards to level 6 to remove it from the card pool when you get a new card through drink/levelup/random events. If you already have every card you need of a character then try to not max them with the enhancement machine since you can still get them through drinks or level up. This saves you coins from rerolls. On Chixia for example, once you get all the good support cards, don't max them out so when you level up and get one of her cards, the chance of getting the pet damage cards is lower and you get to level up the support cards instead. The cards that require only one point in should be left for last since they will fuck with your enhancement machine and you can't reroll these.
