I did it. Dual blade and rope dart actually is very op for bosses. I was using nameless sword for every boss up to this point but I can't stay consistent with deflects long enough to beat the boss so sheer dps during qi break times or whatever carried me. I can deflect most of his kick chains and such consistently but I'm bound to fuck up from something random eventually. Very fair boss though, just really hard. The sand clone phase is annoying and I hate phases in a boss where you're not actually fighting the boss but doing some minigame instead.
