all this stuff is intentionally gatekept by having to go through multiple parts of maps risking failure to extract but freekit completely circumvents it.

How do I deal against corner ambushes? most of my deaths are due to attacks like that
I always check like a schizo but some corners are out of reach.

The one Firespray can kill 2 leapers. Sometimes with their dumb shit pathing they get stuck at an angle and can be hard to flame so bring in some snap or trigger nades to get do more dmg. snaps are cheaper so I use those.

The one good thing about freekits being strong is it helped eliminate my gear fear. In D&D I was always so scared of losing my good set, because I knew I'd have to go back in with the most garbage weapons ever and be forced to quietly sneak around all game, take 30 seconds to kill anything, and if I started getting chased by players I knew I'd be dead. Or I'd be sitting in the auction house for 2 hours trying to get a new set with good stats.

This game? I go in with my last venator and my last survivor augment and I know if I die, I can easily come back with a freekit and still have fun and get a gear stockpile again easily. Probably also helps that stats arent rng

yeah my first instinct was to just spam those triggers and then my three stacks of impact grenades to finish it but i wanted to get a bit cheeky since it seemed to be so close to being destroyed

I was thinking about a hunter ARC concept

The idea is to have a gamemode where you really, really have to think about wether or not it's worth shooting something, because the moment you do you will hear a sound in the distance, and then footsteps becoming louder and louder as the Hunter approaches, forcing Raiders to be sneaky. The main problem with this idea is that i don't know how you avoid people being able to just cheese this enemy, since it woudn't be able to enter structures you could just cheese it like the Leaper by shooting it from within a building, which really lessens the scary aspect of being actively hunted

You are absolutely fucking retarded, anon. The quests tell you to go to the area, give you a description, and have a yellow circle appear over what you're looking for when you get near. I got through every quest without a guide. Only ones I struggled on were the scrap yard one with three objectives on dam and the emp power box one on dam. Second one mostly because it gets you to do it in order so I wasn't sure it was glitched. I will admit I spent an embarrassing amount of time looking for a battery near the red tower but I'll blame it being late at night over saying it was well hidden. Next time you're struggling try asking a nearby raider if they know. When everyone was looking for androids in montis we had people running others around showing them. Was really nice.
