Going through the rewritten chapters, findings below for those interested about the changes.>SP15No big differences. They added some segments from the animated PV from Youtube as cutscene but it's pretty poorly done, looks like patchwork with bad transitions.Storywise it's the same, there's only a new line that shows Blade is aware of Storas' relic/ability, Eye of Atraxus namedrop).>SP16Some changes are good but it's still bad.>Good-The "5 Holy Relics of the 5 Sbern kingdoms" is cut. The relics are now just directly identified as Seals of their respective kingdoms and it is known what they do.-Dimension Gates are less for convenience and were pretty much removed from this SP. So the party/Wilhelmina no longer asks Morp if she can track his dimension gate, but where Azir is. Morp also doesn't sink into a magic circle anymore, but the guards walk her off.-Arcanor dropped. Instead Azir is just trying to liberate "the ancient fiends that attacked long ago". >BAD-In Part 2 (Glacia) they forgot their own relics>seals retcon. We're suddenly back to "Holy Relics" (Glacia). Or it's more that they didn't want to commit, since pretty much all the voicelines/plot in part 2 uses "Holy Relics' so you'd have to redo the entire second half.-Morpeah's last stand (2nd fight where she takes off her mask & threatens to blow up some citizens after) is removed. Instead she is just defeated and collapses after one fight.This is very, very bad since it makes Morp just look like a regular mob/jobber when SP6 arc was all about her. She also just appears unmasked, with no transition, when Apostles losing their masks was a big deal before. -Fragment from the trailer where Olstein is wounded added as cutscene. Nice, but in the trailer the square is ruined while ingame is still looks completely fine. Good intentions, but SP16 is patchwork stuff rather than a rewrite they fully wanted to commit to. I'll see how SP17/18 hold up later today.

That was supposed to be her being teleported to Eclipse who we saw could use teleport magic way back at her story pack. So far so good. But 2mins later Eclipse still casually opens a gate to port Leonhart and Wilhelmina in so that falls flat.-In early segments all mentions of Arcanor (the supposed big bad dragon even Eclipse and Co. couldn't defeat but the party very easily can) were removed. Now it's not Arcanor who commanded the fiends and caused the Fiend Onslaught. Instead, the Ancient Mages possessed a dominion that let them control fiends. Azir is supposedly after this power (he's not after Arcanor and its powers to make a host body for himself anymore).-Again the 'holy relics' instead of seals of the kingdoms.-Contradiction where the statue now first says that the seal on the ancient fiends can't be broken so easily, then says you can't stop the unsealing of the fiends a moment later.-Several plot holes still remain from before. Sylvia/Rubia/Rou just teleport in outta nowhere to hold off the statues. Eclipse casually teleports in with Lia/Teresse when supposedly opening a small dimensional gate already took a lot of power (but direct large-scale teleportation is ok?)-Justia telling her dream of the past and who she is in detail to the others when they are in a hurry to stop Azir-At Arcanor's statue the dialogue is again about how Eclipse and co fought him (instead of ancient fiends). Though he is now named "Ancient Fiend" (random mob), it's still just his statue, Eclipse still remembers him, he now again still instigated the Fiend Onslaught etc. It's still Arcanor in everything but name.

They wanted to remove Arcanor but can't without completely redoing the pack, so they gave up halfway through.That is my problem with this 'rewrite'. Good ideas on how to fix it, but not willing to commit to it. So the new story contradicts the old within the same story packs.
