Toushin Toshi 1 is so bad that it has me questioning if turn-based RPGs are always shit. I've just sent a friend an essay arguing that collectible card games (like the Yu-Gi-Oh video games) are always better.

I'm probably reading too much into too little but it's kinda interesting since I don't think I've ever seen an MC written like this that didn't turn me off pretty soon from that piece of media due to the sheer edginess on display. I also like the Rance x Sill ship more than I expected it to, I'd love to see less verbal abuse and slapstick humor at Sill's expense but I'm a sucker for unorthodox romances in fiction and 02 really showed that they care for each other a lot.
