The more I play, the more I realize why this game flopped. I've never played a game that doesn't want you to play it this badly.The contrast is made worse by all the games that released around the same period like Trickcal, DNA and CZN where there's something you want to be grinding or something you want to be doing to progress but the only thing you can do here is log in, do your daily chores and log out because there's nothing you can do until next event or next raid boss.I have no idea how Yostar could fuck up such basic gacha features or core gameplay this badly when they've been localizing games for nearly a decade now and am convinced that the only reason this game hasn't gone the way of something like Tribe Nine is because a lot of people are ride or die with Yostar and will stick with it until the bitter end.

Trekker exp is mitigated by the almost excessive arena sources.I've spent a good chunk of stamina farming duloos because his mats are in such high demand. Character tier ups felt OK because of the fact that commissions can let you tier up a character stamina-free from 1-> 70 in less than a week and then about 1.5 weeks for 70 to 90, and only DPS carries really need 90. I have 4 trekkers at 90 and like 13 at 70 which is extremely fast for one month if you consider that's the majority of the entire game roster.Just add more disc exp sources and run occasional 2x bounty campaigns outside of events and it'll be fine. By the end of month 2, I can see myself basically not needing to farm any trekker tier up mats other than to supplement events, and almost everything will go towards discs and emblems

The repetitive nature of it is natural due to copying slay the spire but the equips you get are borderline useless and your power level is absolutely garbage to start. You'll have to invest a decent amount of time in the game to get to the fun builds. Where was SS instantly rewards you with a good build that can pass for fun as long as your team picks weren't downright retarded. Japan loves an endless time waster grind that gives them something to do on train rides so it's perfect for them. Where as in SS you pretty much solve what you should or shouldn't take for a build after playing for a bit. There's no enough RNG or variation (thankfully in some ways). So it doesn't quite scratch that same itch. Technically you could endlessly chase a perfect record but it's not nearly as enticing as a run in CZN I guess. Personally I wouldn't mind an alternate mode for Ascension that's more just to goof of in and make crazy builds so it has a ton more RNG.

I hate most of the character designs and don't want to roll on any of the upcoming characters for like the next year because they're all ugly as shit but the gameplay is like crack if you enjoy deckbuilding games.They really nailed the gameplay aspect right on the head since it's a game for those who actually want to play a game versus something like SS that was made for those who just want something where they log in, sweep and you're done because the game won't let you play even if you want to unless you feel like replaying stages or torturing yourself in ascension.

The strongest characters are the starter ones and you can get to lv30 on an acc super quickly, at level 35 you unlock the event and at level 40 you unlock the full game. This takes around a week of optimal play and then you can unleash your full autism on perfecting your characters.
