How do you deal with shitty quality CC? Do you just ignore it or something?I just saw that a minidress from Arethabee has minor clipping issues when the sim moves. Now I'm getting the compulsion to check every single other item by that modder and it drives me mad because normally a quality check in CAS suffices.Usually, I check a CC author's work for quality in CAS by playing with sliders. For hairs, I found that most authors don't give a fuck about large breasts so it always bugs or clips when they're larger than small. For clothes, there are so many fucking issues that I always dread downloading them. Forget about slider clipping, most of the time they don't even sit on the skin. There are floating issues, then there are always these weird buggy-looking stretchy parts that only occur during certain animations. Then you got these weird texture issues that arise when you dress your sim with additional clothing parts, like boots. I had weird glitchy textures overlap more than I can count. The worst is when you think it's safe to keep the CC installed only to have it show its nasty issues ingame. I'm so tired of this. Most CC is so badly done that I'm actually surprised when it's not. I can't be the only one having this experience.

Question about the gallery.I have the cracked version of the game and am thinking about getting the game legit and then cracking it so that I have access to the gallery. So that I can get premade sims as townies instead of random abominations I need to edit.I also hate forced updates since I dont want mods to be broken. You (cc users) can un-update the cc!If you're on an older version of the game, you can have the newer s4s and your current s4s installed at the same time! You need to do this through 'my projects'. If you click on the file directly and open with s4s, it'll probably be the old one that opens it, and that's not what we want!Go to the top bit of your package, go to tools, studio, export all.>let it export. after you've allowed the item to export, you're going to note down what your item is, what tags your item has, and what LODS the item has. I'm gonna rant a little bit.I have a bad habit of installing hair and clothing mods in bulk to check out how they look in game. I often am left with a few usable items and a chunk of "garbage". This problem is exacerbated by mod packs that come with 20-40 standalone hairs.I really do wish it was easier to clean up the CC folder for people like myself. A way to move/delete files while the game is running. Like I hate having to note down the offending items while the game is running, then close the game and either remove the mods manually or use a mod manager. Then boot up the game again. Saving trays of "bad" sims in order to find the CC isn't great either.As a side note, EA is stupid for not putting out a standalone Create a Sim program as a demo of sorts. Yes I know the game is F2P, but this hypothetical standalone CAS would also allow you to quickly check CC items without going through the process of booting the whole game.
