I'm playing Rogue Trader and getting confused by "tech use". I'll try to open a door and it'll have two different tech uses. One of them uses up a multikey, but I have no idea what the other one uses. The quantity of whatever item it is doesn't correspond to anything in my inventory. At first I thought it was the machine rite set but that's not it.

Well I completed the game and rank it very highly. 4.5-5 range, definitely god tier RPG. Was not that different from Hearkenwold nor was it much harder. I only had problems 2 times but managed to beat it. Stinking Cloud somehow god tier spell (I guess is skips spell resistance?) with Conjuration focus its amazing. Honestly I think we should use Psionicists strictly for nuking and Conjuration/Enchantment mages for CC. Evocation is overrated. I also had 2 monstrous fronliners with 46 strength each, one was HG Fighter and the other Mantis Glad. The rest of the party Bishop and Half-Sala bow Storm Warrior. There is a crazy sword you can get from the Vrock henchie, duplicate it with genie. The guy from the inn (next to your old room) has also 2 great endgame weapons if you can show him the Black Rose insignia from Act 1 (he has these items in end of Act 3). I will say however if this game had 10-15% more story (really not a lot just minimum, but with a twist here and there) it would be twice as good and the AI art was pretty bad.

But Apotheosis and Skin Graft let you spam the fuck out of your Necro spells and destroy enemies even if they have a gorillion armour and HP. If you try out the tea, you'll never feel like you can go back to life without tea.And it's not communism if you're only taking 3 points. Poly 3, Warfare 2 (for Battering Ram and shockwave for physical stun cc), and Necro 10 (if you want to specialise for your RP build), would work fine with your build for example. Max level is usually around 18-20 in DOS2 so you'd have points for Scoundrel and other stuff as you go. Just having those cc spells would help immensely. Combine that with Teleportation and the enemy will never get to have a proper turn because you'll be initiating from afar or on a cliff, and then pound the shit out of them one by one before they get to have a turn.
