This game is really fun and I'm stoked that it's popular. Despite my laundry list of changes I wish the devs would make, the pvp is fun, the pve is fun, and I enjoy killing stuff and maxing out my stash with high value goodies.

Pretty hard shot but you're wasting your ammo if you're hitting black armour. I honestly wouldn't care about the balance if higher tier weapons and kits weren't so expensive to upgrade and build. Stitcher and Kettle take fuck all to upgrade AND you don't even really need to, while many other weapons gain firing speed (hence TTK) with upgrades so aren't as useful T1 unlike Stitcher and Kettle. A freekit can be 90% as effective as the "best" kit in the right hands, and that's fine, if I didn't have to spend the time and risk to farm all that shit for the "best" kit.

I think the new way to run legendary weapons isn't Pipeline Tower on Dam, but zipping up the front of Spaceport Tower like usual then placing mines at the end then snap hooking from the ledge up to the roof. The only way someone can grief you during Matriarch is if they waste their time sniping from launch tower - but you can easily place barricades. I just had to witness a betrayal fest from above and someone even tried going up my zip only to meet my trap. My regret was I didn't bring enough lure nades to deter people bothering me

You get the ropes back on recycle + 1 power rod as long as you don't bring it to 0 durability. It also takes quite a few raids to go through one unless you are using it a lot

There's a ton of mechanics and items in the game that are clearly intended to be used but there simply isn't enough time in a firefight. An il toro 4 has a 0.78 TTK which isnt even enough time for someone to turn around if you're shot first. The smoke augment is the third best but more often than not it ends up just griefing your team, especially indoors. Either neither of those talents will make a real difference in most scenarios. If you get downed in the open without smokes and help from your team you are 100% getting fucked either way, if you're getting downed near cover or in cover you are getting defib'd before it would come into effect. It only matters in situations where you're just far enough from getting into cover/being shot at before team gets to cover you with smokes where you'd normally die which is a fringe as fuck scenario.

Honestly the looting has gotten extremely boring, there are no ULTRA RARE items that exist, it's always the same shit that drops.
