Others give other things, you can check their shops ahead of time prior to joining.You also gain their Style if you don't have it already, but that's minor.Sectless just means you have slower rep gain but you can still cap in a week easily, Sect members just cap sooner. Plus the Sectless outfit you can get looks best.
