Blue is probably the easiest realm to start with since tentacles are very straightforward and all their character are at least solid when starting out, but if you wanna play a different realm far be it from me to stop you.

Once you feel like you've acquired a sufficient number of units then the majority of your standard pulls will end up going exclusively to the standard weapon banner (aka Wheel Jail). Splitting your standard rolls between the different realms isn't bad per se but a lot of characters get notable power spikes at certain dupe levels. There's also an item that's given out sparingly which allows you to turn the dupe levels on a standard unit into an equivalent amount of standard selectors. So in the unfortunate case you end up getting +12 on a shitty awakener you can still recycle them into someone actually usable.

Aside from the boss inflicting permanent stagnation it's really not that bad. Just snag a gmurphy or 24 or really any character with a good damaging exalt support and slap 3 naked shitters in your team and the whale can easily carry you. Takes like 30 minutes for 15 runs.

I'm a new player and I have more characters for the event than posse so I'm just gated on how many runs I can do. Time to do more story chapters I guess. Amazing event.
