The quests should be radiant and able to be started while topside and give benefits within the match like how Redsec does it. Or even better do a system similar to raider events where there's bounties on certain things that rotate each hour. So you'd queue into blue gate knowing that in the maintenance tunnel, lance wants some dumb thing, but everyone else in the server is also aware of it. I think i found another problem with the game's reward loop. After spening probably 600k total in failed attempts, i have killed both the Queen and Matriarch. Which is cool because i wanted to kill them, simply for the sake of having done it. But now that i did kill them, why would i ever do it again? There's no reward, you get a bunch of mats that are only good for crafting the legendaries, and the legendaries are bad for anything that isn't killing the queen and/or matriatch, so there's really no incentive for me to ever spend tons of resources to kill them again. The only reason why i would is to farm legendaries to kill a future new boss, and then i would kill it once and reach the same problem again

Its ok, if you're really into 40k. The problem with it is that its horribly balanced and the current lead designer is a retard who thinks spongy enemies = fun. Basically think if every single enemy was a Matriarch. Which has led to this terrible gameplay experience where to kill an enemy you have to click their head 50 times or swing at them fifty times just to kill them.

But if you really really like 40k, it does a good job at giving you lots of customization options and roleplaying as a space marine. HD2/Arc/Vermintide 2 is definitely better.

Expeditions was the right idea done wrong. Instead it should have been an endless community event, something that depending on what people donated gave them rewards and contributed to the wider city event. The Breaking New Ground live event was a mistake because it was XP based instead of item based.

Doing the expedition and having to focus on certain types of resources has made the game fun again, even if I don't plan to reset.

I'm not going to do the expedition.

I've tried entering every matriarch lobby I can this past week, and rats have always broken up any attempt at killing the thing. I have yet to see it fall since it was initially introduced. Matriarch right now for me is the most engaging content in the game and so far the only reason I run legendary weapons but its been fun. I think you just have an approach of "I did it once, why more" which sounds like a game-preference issue. This is why the way the game should work is armor be separated into light, medium and heavy.

Light = No shield + Light Shield
Medium = Medium Shield
Heavy = Heavy shield

Then make it so light guns > light armor, medium guns > medium, ect. Then there is a reason to have for example an Anvil and a Burletta. You crack his Heavy armor with the Anvil, then switch to the Burletta to finish him (because DPS wise its faster) instead of what we have where you can just crack anyone any time with an Anvil.

OBVIOUSLY you take the flanking augment and pop shields with a big gun then hotswap to the burletta as a finisher.

Why wouldn't you use more explosives or more ARC damaging weapons? A stitcher with a bunch of ammo probably does less overall than like.. a renegade with half the ammo. And also, trigger mines are very easy to make along with other explosives

Probably every 5 or 6 times I jump or run into something, my character gets stuck and I can't actually move

This used to mostly only happen if I was running along hills or near rocks, but now it's happening constantly, even in the middle of pvp fights. Recently I even got stuck on the side of an elevator on Dam. It's so hilariously stupid, I can barely move or jump without my guy just getting stuck on something and I die. Like how fucking bad is this game engine where characters just get randomly stuck all the time? Dogshit
